Comptoir Libanais provides the taste of authentic Lebanese home cooking in a welcoming and fun environment where the colours and flavours create an inviting atmosphere and a true Middle Eastern dining experience. Comptoir is a restaurant where everyone can eat casually, and the food is served with warm and friendly hospitality.
The menu is made of healthy, vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes that Middle Eastern and Lebanese mothers use at home. The selection of hot and cold mezze is ideal for a quick snack or to share with friends and family with traditional dips and salads like Comptoir Hommos and Baba Ghanuj, Pickles Falafel, Grilled Halloumi or Lebanese spiced potatoes.
Especially popular are warm Lebanese Wraps served with a Comptoir salad and pickles, as are the marinated tender meats hot off the grill such as Mixed Grill, Comptoir Burgers or a selection of hearty Tagines.
No Lebanese meal is complete without something sweet. There is a selection of Baklawa and desserts that are delicate, fragrant and delicious, such as Chocolate Brownie served with tahina, date molasses and halva.
Refreshing homemade lemonades such as Leymona – lemon and lime lemonade and Fresh Rose Mint Tea, served in a silver teapot, are the perfect accompaniment to the meal. In addition, the drinks list features a Cocktail List featuring a mix of innovative creations with a Lebanese twist on classics and a selection of Lebanese wines and beers, specially imported from the Bekaa Valley.
The restaurant also offers a dedicated children’s menu for little appetites. Priced at £5.95, it includes a main course, drink and dessert with a great selection of healthy favourites such as Halloumi Platter with Falafel and Hommos and Mango & Vanilla Cheesecake.
Drawing inspiration from the rich and flavourful cuisine of the Middle East, our breakfast menu offers a range of delicious dishes that will keep you coming back for more. From savoury Shakshuka made with fried eggs and spiced tomato sauce to sweet manousha drizzled with honey, we have something for everyone to enjoy! Available Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am – 12pm
