9 of the Best Places for Cocktails and Craft Beer at Southgate Bath

Whether you’re after a bottomless brunch, a quiet date spot or something a little livelier, your day or night out starts here at SouthGate Bath!

With a range of different bars and restaurants whatever the occasion, here’s our pick of the best places for cocktails, craft beer and more in Bath city centre.

1.BrewDog

BrewDog is one of our newest additions so check it out if you’re looking for new things to do in Bath.

Its bar is kitted out with 28 taps pouring the very best of its own beers and those from other guest breweries. Or if beer isn’t to your taste, visit on Fizz Fridays when you can get a bottle of prosecco for just £15.

Bites to eat on offer include burgers, buffalo hot wings, salads and brunch, plus 50% of its menu is vegetarian or plant based. It’s also given a childhood classic meal an adult makeover, introducing its iconic Hoppy Meals – a burger, fries and a beer for £15.25.

2.Cosy Club

Complete with a Coliseum-esque balcony and outdoor terrace which overlooks Southgate Place, Cosy Club offers relaxed dining and drinking options with something for everyone on the menu.

Check out its expansive drinks menu for all tastes, from tea, coffee and soft drinks, to beer, cider, wine, gin and more. There are over 20 cocktails on Cosy Club’s menu, with classics including Porn Star Martinis and Mojitos, or try something new with lots of sweet and sour options. There’s also no or low alcohol options and mocktails for those that fancy them.

And Cosy Club has some great offers too. Its Boundless Brunch is available from 10am to 11.30am when you can add unlimited prosecco, Bloody Marys and Mimosas to any breakfast dish for £25pp. Or enjoy its Teatime Tipple offer, giving you the chance to get any two cocktails for £10.95 from 4pm to 8pm Sunday to Thursday.

3.Be at One

Be at One Bar is your ‘go to’ if you’re looking for a cocktail bar in Bath. It offers imaginative cocktails, accompanied with lively music until the early hours – perfect for afternoon drinks, birthday celebrations, hen parties and more.

 

4.Everyman Bar

Level up your movie night and enjoy some food and drinks before, with or after your film at Tivoli. The cocktail menu boasts favourites such as the Film Star Martini.

Plus it has been said that Tivoli has one of the most instagrammable bathrooms in Bath.

There’s plenty of small plates on offer, plus pizzas, classic nachos and hot dogs. Pair your dish with a cocktail, prosecco, beer, spirit or soft drink of your choice. There’s even a vegan milkshake made from mango sorbet and soya milk!

5.Comptoir Libanais

Comptoir Libanais is known for its freshly prepared and exciting Lebanese menu.

Enjoy catching up with friends or family over a mezze platter or its burgers, tagine, wraps and grilled plates.

It also has a tasty drinks menu with signature and classic cocktails on offer. Make sure to try its homemade lemonade with a gin or vodka twist. Or for groups of four, why not go for its Comptoir Gin Tree.

6.Giraffe

Offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just drinks and nibbles, Giraffe is a great spot for bringing people together for drinks in Bath.

Its bottomless brunch is available every day from 11am – 4pm for £25pp, where you’ll get free flowing prosecco for 90 minutes along with one of their brunch dishes.

7.Juno

Whether it’s a chilled weekday lunch or Saturday night drinks with mates, Juno bar is the place to be.

From craft beer and cocktails to juicy burgers, loaded fries and delicious pizzas, there’s something for everyone.

And great range food and drinks isn’t the only thing on offer. Juno also has pool tables for some friendly competition and is dog-friendly too so your pup doesn’t have to miss out on the fun!

8.Graze
